Andy Murray is a successful Scottish tennis player. In April 2007, Murray broke into the top 10 ranking by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Most dominant on fast courts (such as hard court), Murray has worked hard to improve his clay court game since 2008. In 2005, Murray started ranked 407 in the world, but by the end of the year, had climbed to World No. 64, drawing praise from American tennis legend John McEnroe who predicted that the next year Murray would depose Tim Henman as the highest ranked British player.
