Emma Watson

Emma Watson (born 1990) is an English actress famous for her role as Hermione Granger in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novel series. Together with actors Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, Watson has acted in the Harry Potter films since 2001 (She was age 10 when first cast in her role), and will continue to do so until the film franchise ends with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Watson has acted in two other productions outside of the Harry Potter series; she performed in a made-for-television novel adaptation called Ballet Shoes in 2007 and she provided a voice-over for the animated film The Tale of Despereaux as the character Princess Pea.

  • Despite working hard on filming the Harry Potter series during her GCSE and A-Level years, Watson maintained a high academic standard, achieving eight A*s and two As at GCSE, and three As in her A-Levels in English Literature, Geography and Art.
