Thursday 22 May, RSA, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ. Doors open at 6.30pm, Debate 7.00pm - 8.30pm

London's main airport is set for major expansion, with ministers backing a controversial third runway and sixth terminal. Airport operator BAA, British Airways and most leading voices in the City believe expansion is essential for London's international position. But many in west London say their lives are already blighted by airline noise and pollution. So does the capital really need a bigger main airport - and can we expand it without unacceptable noise and environmental damage? Our panel will debate the future of Heathrow - and its impact on all of us.

Panel:
Rt Hon Ruth Kelly MP
Baroness Valentine
George Monbiot
