300 free tickets to the City Showcase Classical Concert at St Giles-on-the-Fields Church on Thursday 5 June

London’s City Showcase is the festival for new talent. Running from the 2 to the 6 June 2008, from midday until midnight, the festival spans 35 different venues across the capital, uniting some of the biggest names in music today with the hottest up and coming acts. A highlight of this year’s festival is the City Showcase Classical Night, headlined by ex-G4 star Jonathan Ansell. The former frontman of X-Factor “Popera” group G4 will be delighting audiences on Thursday 5 June as he takes to the Classical showcase stage at the West End’s local Church, St Giles in the Fields. With G4, Jonathan achieved 3 hit albums, record sales in excess of 2 million and a sold out performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Promising to deliver G4 hits as well as material from his new solo album Jonathan’s performance is one not to be missed, and there’ll be free drinks in the interval to cap it all off!  Other hotly-tipped artists from the classical world set to perform include virtuoso pianist and winner of BBC2's 'Classical Star' series Sophie Cashell, The Royal College of Music’s The Sirocco Saxophone Quartet, clarinettist Jonathan Parkin and violinists Simon Hewitt Jones and David Worswick.
