Jonathan Miller’s ‘Mafia’ Rigoletto is back at ENO with a vengeance. Brilliantly relocating Verdi’s Renaissance revenge drama to the vendetta-driven culture of 1950s Maria-run New York, this production was proclaimed a classic when it premiered at ENO and has been captivating audiences ever since. With acclaimed baritone Anthony Michael’s-Moore as a magnificent Rigoletto and rising star Michael Fabiano playing the dashing Duke, this is a revival not to be missed.
