Peter Hall: still Waiting
Look here too
Half a century after directing the first English language version of Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot, Sir Peter Hall is bringing it back to the West End. The return had been planned for last year - to mark the 50th anniversary - but the Barbican, which owns the rights, vetoed the move. The New Ambassadors production, around the corner from the Arts Theatre where Sir Peter first staged the play, stars James Laurenson and Alan Dobie. Previews start tonight.
