The Dance Attic

Jazz dance, ballroom and salsa classes are done on a drop-in basis and cost £7-£8. All classes last an hour and have 10-25 pupils per class.

Pineapple Dance Studios
7 Langley Street, Covent Garden, WC2 (020 7836 4004)
Drop-in classes for 10 to 50 people, costing £8-£10 for one hour to an hour-and-a-half. A range of jazz styles are offered.

Kensington Dance Studio The Polish Hearth Club
55a Exhibition Road, SW7 (020 7823 9949) Wednesday evening drop-in classes are available for beginners at 7.15pm and for intermediate/advanced dancers at 8.30pm. Group classes cost £9 but private tuition is £35 for a 55-minute lesson. Dance styles include mambo, rumba and cha cha.

A Thursday-night class from 8.15-10.30pm, costing £7, rotates between a variety of styles including cha cha, mambo, salsa and rumba. Private 50-minute lessons available for £35.

Expressions Studios

Expressions offers everything from ballroom to Latin and jazz. Drop-in classes costing £5-10 last one hour and private lessons are £40 for 45 minutes to an hour. Anton Du Beke from Strictly Come Dancing is a tutor.
