Jude Law and Dominic West are battling it out to be named best actor in the only theatre honours decided by paying theatregoers.
Law made the shortlist for the Whatsonstage.com awards, announced today, for his Hamlet at the Donmar Warehouse.
Wire actor West was selected for his performance in Life Is A Dream also with the Donmar.

Other rivals include David Harewood, Ken Stott, Samuel West and Mark Rylance, the Standard's best actor for Jerusalem.
Mackenzie Crook, Sheila Hancock and ex-Spice Girl Mel C are among the nominees in other categories.
The winners will be revealed at a concert for theatregoers on 14 February at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
